Google Docs: App for Android,Simple File Uploads


Google Docs team announce the new Android Application for Android2.1+ phones. which allows you to upload content from your phone and open documents directly form Gmail.

It is also used to filter and searchfor your content across any Google account for editing. This new app also allows you to easily share items with contacts on your phone, right from within the app.

Home Screen Widget
You can also add a widget to your home screen for easy access to your starred documents, to directly upload a captured image and to create a new document.



This new application is also capable of  recognizing the text from images that means you can use photos with text  as editable Google documents with the power of optical character recognition(OCR). But it won't recognize handwriting or some fonts.

Simple File Uploads: 
Google Doc's team also added three new features ( Folder upload, documents list Integration and drag-and-drop upload ) to the desktop version to make it easy to upload files to Google Doc's.
