Recently Gmail announced a feature that allow us to drag files from desktop into the Gmail without enabling insert image option from G-mail lab when you are using latest version of Chrome. Now you can paste images right from your clipboard too, no matter where you copied the image whether it is from desktop or from the web. This feature is currently works only on the latest Chrome browser. Will be available for other browsers soon.

Now you can open any Office file stored in Google Docs directly from with in Microsoft Office with Google Cloud Connect .

Skype announced the new Skype 5.5  Beta version for Windows, It enhances with some new features like Facebook friends in your contact list, Instant messaging with Facebook friends, Easier and smarter call controls. You can connect your Facebook account to Skype by clicking the Facebook Tab beside the Skype home tab.

The Chrome beta channel is updated to 13.0.782.24 for Windows, Mac, Linux and for Chrome frame.

Google enhances Instant technology to search the web faster and faster. The new enhancement Instant Pages  (works with Chrome) will open the search results pages instantly with out wasting any time when  we click on a search result.

Now you can ask your computer any thing with Google Voice Search. To search the web just click the mic in Google Search bar and speak you query, Google will display results instantly. You need a microphone and latest version of Chrome to do a voice search. It is now available to US English only, and will be rolled out to every one in coming days. Voice Search is also available on mobile devices.

URL shortener is now available in Twitter.com, Just paste lengthy URL in tweet box along with your tweet on hitting tweet button it will automatically convert it into a short 19 character URL that will show the shortened version of the original URL so people will know which site they are visiting.

Twitter released a new version of  twitter search , with this you will get relevant photos and videos along with tweets when you search for something or when you clicks on a trending topics. And the top images and top videos will be shown at the right side bar. The availability of a pic/video will be shown at the top right corner of the tweets in the search results.

Chromes new Security feature alerts you when ever you are committed to download a  suspected malicious  executable file. This feature automatically  integrated with in your browser. Malware Warning Warning will also be displayed for any download URL that matches the latest list of malicious websites published by the  Safe Browsing API . The new feature follows the same  privacy policy  currently in use by the Safe Browsing feature. For example, this feature does not enable Google to determine the URLs you are visiting.  

Recently Gmail added new settings for easier access to Gmail. Auto-save contacts setting: Gmail automatically saves the address of the every email you sent. It is useful, but some times it is too much for us. This new setting will turn off this option available
