A Biennial of Creative Video is now going in front of the jury, and is available to view at youtube.com/play . It’s been a busy summer. More than 23,000 videos, from 91 countries across the world, were submitted for YouTube Play, and the Guggenheim has picked 125 to make up the shortlist. In there you’ll find submissions from students, video artists, photographers, filmmakers, composers, video game programmers, an American Women’s Chess Champion , a comedy improv group , a Swedish rock band, a South African hip-hop group , an Australian electronic music producer —and a lot more. Google dismissed an employee for accessing users information illegally according to GAWKER . A 27-year old Google engineer accessed data of the four minors through a technology group in the Seattle area while working as a Site Reliablility Engineer at Google's Kirkland, Wash Office. Google Confirmed the security breach and suspended him form Google. Update: Google  has released a statement  confirming it fired Barksdale for privacy violations: "We dismissed David Barksdale for breaking Google's strict internal privacy policies. We carefully control the number of employees who have access to our systems, and we regularly upgrade our security controls–for example, we are significantly increasing the amount of time we spend auditing our logs to ensure those controls are effective.
