Now it is easy to transfer your files from Orkut and igoogle while your chatting, To transfer a file to your friend just start a conversation with your friend from your orkut or igoogle account and choose send a file... in actions menu. Twitter contains 21% of active users only

A new study by Barracuda Labs  tells that there are only 21% accounts are active. Barracuda labs studied more than 19 million twitter users and reported that there are only 21% true accounts running in twitter. Read some of the key highlights posted at barracuda Networks.com. New YouTube app. V 2.4 for Windows n Nokia S-60 phones

YouTube mobile team released Version 2.4 for Windows and Nokia S-60 phones. In this version they added more advanced features than  the Previous first application released in last March. This new version includes search query suggestions 'My Account' support and you can view your Favorites, Subscriptions and play lists. Biking directions for Google maps

 In the US, Google Maps now offers step-by-step biking directions; bike trails outlined directly on the map; and a new Bicycling layer that indicates bike trails, bike lanes, and bike-friendly roads. in the Get direction box in google maps page type your destination and select Bicycling and click on 'Get Directions' button, it will shows the way turn by turn for you. New beta features for Chrome

A new beta feature from Chrome team to Translate the web sites language to your preferred language . When you visit a page which is not in your language then the browser prompts to translate the page to your preferred language. And you doesn't need any extensions to use this. New Service from twitter to avoid Phishing attacks

Twitter's Trust and Safety team launched a new service to protect users from Phishing and deceitful full attacks from bad people. By routing all the links submitted to Twitter through service 'twt.tl', It can detect,intercept and prevent the spread of across all of Twitter.  Even if a bad link is already sent out in an email notification and somebody clicks on it, this service will  be able to  keep that user safe. Upload photos to Orkut directly from Picasa

Now you can add your photos to orkut  directly from your Picasa  by installing  ' Share photos on Orku t' plug-in, This creates a small button to share photo in Orkut. Once you successfully install the plug-in, you can find a button Showing the orkut symbol at the bottom of your Picasa Screen. Just select the photos you want to upload and click 'Orkut' button  it will ask for the album whether it is a new or existing.

Skinput: Human body as an Input device

Microsoft Research center and Human Computer Interaction Institute developed a Prototype system uses computer and Human skin called 'Skinput' . Our skin may acts as a screen / input device. This technology doesn't use any electrodes to pass through our body. It has an  pico projector embed-ed in a arm band to project a beam on our hand or forearm, an acoustic detector embed-ed in the arm-band detects the taps and works with the function behind it. Opera 10.5

In  Opera 10.5  they added some features to browse more speedy than before with  a new JavaScript engine, Carakan, and a new graphics library called Vega. Both should improve browsing speed, with Carakan being as much as 7 times faster than the Futhark JavaScript engine used in Opera 10.10.  Opera has increased room for content on your screen by replacing the menu bar with the menu button. The new version also integrates with Windows 7. It lets you access your tabs from task bar. This new version will allows you to browse privately either in a tab or a separate window. Google Chrome with New Features

Automatic Language Translation with in your chrome. Google acquired Online photo editor Picnik . Picnik is the first ever online photo editor with which you can edit your photos within your browser instead of other thirdparty softwares for  croping ,resizing,  special effects,  designs and to add some cool effects to your collection of photos. Gmail removes unused things from labs

Gmail recently removes some lab features, which are not useful for users based on user feedback and adds some more features to speed up emailing and give full charge to our out going emails. here is the short list of additional features Gmail adds to labs section Auto completion of keywords when we are typing at search box in Gmail. Attachment detector will help us if we forget to attach files which we already mentioned the body of the message.
