New Service from twitter to avoid Phishing attacks

Twitter's Trust and Safety team launched a new service to protect users from Phishing and deceitful full attacks from bad people. By routing all the links submitted to Twitter through service 'twt.tl', It can detect,intercept and prevent the spread of across all of Twitter. Even if a bad link is already sent out in an email notification and somebody clicks on it, this service will  be able to  keep that user safe.
You may  notice this service as links in your direct messages and email notifications are shortened to twt.tl
