Are Android, Chrome-Flavored Netbooks on Tap for Google Earlier this week, I lamented what Google didn't do in 2008 , but with the year winding down let's consider what's on tap at Google for 2009. Garret Rogers over at ZDNet is thinking that there will be several mobile devices running Google's Android mobile operating system. I know, I know. Stating the obvious a little. But in this obscene economy, it's OK to play it safe. Of course, there will be more Android devices, probably from Sprint, Motorola, Samsung, Kogan, Garmin and God knows who else. But while we're on the subject, I'd like to add to this list that we should see an Android netbook in 2008. Why not? Netbooks have gone gangbusters in 2008. Yahoo mail with new Look Yahoo Mail has unveiled some of the new features and applications. Yahoo Mail, the world's biggest webmail service, has unveiled what it calls a 'smarter Inbox'.  Among the changes to Yahoo Mail is a welcome page with update notifications from other socially-enabled sites such as Twitter.  From next year Yahoo Mail will also support third-party applications such as Flixster and Xoopit.  "One way to make an Inbox smarter (is to) make applications that can work within it, opening up Yahoo Mail to content and services built outside the Yahoo network," said Mark Risher, product management director at Yahoo Mail.  Other changes will allow members to access the photo-sharing website Flickr from within their Inbox under its 'Open Mail Initiative'.  The new features are currently only available to power users, but Yahoo said it will be extending the beta test to other users during 2009.  have look at this new feature at  http://beta.mail.y

MTNL is the first Mobile operator in India to launch 3G services and calls it MTNL 3G Jadoo.
