Skype On Android

Finally Skype is available for Android. To Get it point your mobile browser to skype.com/m or you can get it from Android market.

With this new app you can make skype to skype calls and send and receive IMs for free, one-to-one or with a group. You can also call phones at Skype’s great rates – over WiFi or 3G.

To make calls to phones abroad, simply dial the number in Skype and pay with Skype Credit – or make unlimited calls with a subscription. When you’re abroad, we recommend that you connect to a WiFi zone for best value.
If you already use Skype on a computer, you'll see your full contact list when you sign in to Skype on your Android phone. If not, you can set up an account and be ready to go in minutes.

Note:


  • You need Android OS2.1 or later to use this app. ( check Setting > About if you are not sure what version your phone is running.)
  • It is tested on HTC and Motorola devices with  Android OS2.1 and above. It may work on other Android phones of not
