Enable https for your Facebook account

Facebook offers its users to enable https to their accounts to protect from secutiry threats like viruses, malwares and hackers.
To enable Secure connection  go to "Account Security" section of the "Account Settings" page from your account, there you find the option to setup secure browsing.

After HTTPS is enabled, encrypted pages took time to load and some of the Facebook features, including many third-party applications will not work. This issues will be resolved soon over the coming weeks.

To learn more about how to keep your information safe on Facebook visit the Facebook Security Page.
